Who We Are
GeorgiaRegister is a privately owned service provider. We are not a government body, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by or acting on behalf of the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR), the Revenue Service of Georgia, the National Bank of Georgia, the Public Service Hall or any other authority. When we file documents, we do so as your representative, on your instruction and under a power of attorney you grant us, never with any official mandate of our own.
We are likewise not affiliated with, and not endorsed by, any bank or other company named on this website. Banks and their conditions are described editorially, for comparison; every account decision is made by the bank alone.
Our Mission
GeorgiaRegister provides accurate, current, and actionable information about company formation, corporate taxation, business banking and residency in Georgia, the country, not the US state. Every article is reviewed by our editorial team before publication.
Sources & Research
We base our content on:
- Publications and registry data of the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR)
- The Georgian Tax Code, together with guidance and rulings published by the Revenue Service of Georgia
- Regulations, licence registers and statistics published by the National Bank of Georgia
- Ordinances and decrees of the Ministry of Finance and of the Government of Georgia
- Published fees and procedures of the Public Service Hall and of the notarial system
- Practical process information from the Georgian service partner we work with
Where a figure can change, such as a state fee, a threshold or a tax rate, we date it in the article and name the source, so you can check it against the original.
Authors & Expertise
Articles are written and edited by the GeorgiaRegister editorial team and published under the team byline. We do not present our editors as licensed lawyers, accountants or tax advisers, and we do not publish credentials we cannot evidence. Where a case needs a professional assessment, such as a binding tax opinion, a licence application or court representation, we say so in the article and point you to a qualified adviser in Georgia. Every article shows its author and the date of its last material update.
Translations
Articles are published in English, Russian, German, Turkish, French, Spanish, Dutch and Arabic. We use a hybrid pipeline of professional translation APIs and human review for technical accuracy. Translations that fail our quality gate (similarity threshold, language detection, character integrity) are excluded from search engine indexing.
AI & Automation Disclosure
Some drafts are AI-assisted. Every AI-assisted draft goes through our own internal checks: a factual review against the primary sources listed above, plus a language and readability review. It is then edited by our editorial team before publication. These are our own checks; they are not provided, certified or scored by any third party. We do not publish unedited AI output.
Updates & Corrections
We review published articles regularly and update them when the law or the administrative practice changes. The "Last updated" date on each article reflects the most recent material edit, not minor formatting changes.
Corrections Policy
If you find an inaccuracy, please contact us at [email protected]. We check every report and correct confirmed errors promptly, with a note at the bottom of the affected article.
Independence
We do not accept paid placements for editorial content. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labeled as such. Opinions in our articles reflect our own analysis, not paid endorsement. This website earns money from advertising and from service enquiries that we pass to our partner in Georgia; neither influences how we rate a bank, a tax regime or a structure.
