Legal Services in Georgia for Businesses and Non-Residents

We provide legal support for entrepreneurs, investors and non-residents doing business in or with Georgia. Our work covers the contracts, corporate matters, property transactions and official filings that sit around company formation, banking and tax — not just the paperwork of setting a company up, but the legal questions that decide whether a deal, a purchase or a structure actually holds. Georgia is a civil-law country, and local documents and procedures follow the Georgian Civil Code and its registries. We prepare and review your documents in English, act for you under power of attorney, and represent your interests before notaries, the Public Registry and other authorities. This page describes our service; specific legal points should be confirmed for your individual case before you rely on them.

Ce que nous faisons

  • Contract drafting and review: commercial agreements, shareholder and founder agreements, service, supply and lease contracts, prepared under the Georgian Civil Code and available in English.
  • Corporate and company law advisory: legal structuring, shareholder arrangements, share transfers, corporate changes filed with the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR), and day-to-day governance questions.
  • Real estate and transaction law: title checks at the Public Registry, sale-purchase and lease agreements, and support through the deal, including any ownership restrictions we confirm for your case.
  • Legal due diligence on companies, assets and property before you buy, invest or enter a partnership, delivered as a clear written report of the risks we find.
  • Powers of attorney and notarial support: drafting documents, notarisation through a Georgian notary, and coordinating apostille or legalisation for use abroad.
  • Representation before Georgian authorities and in disputes: dealings with government agencies and the Revenue Service, and court or arbitration matters handled together with licensed Georgian advocates.

Foire aux questions

Are you licensed to represent me in a Georgian court?

We provide legal advisory, drafting and document work directly. For litigation or hearings that require a member of the Georgian Bar, we act together with licensed advocates. That way one team manages your matter end to end, from the first contract right through to representation in a dispute.

Can my legal matter be handled remotely?

In most cases, yes. With a notarised and apostilled power of attorney we can sign documents, deal with the registry and represent you before authorities in Georgia without you travelling. Some acts still need your personal presence, and we tell you upfront which ones apply to your case.

Can a foreigner own property or a business in Georgia?

Foreign nationals can own companies and most real estate in Georgia, though some categories, such as agricultural land, carry restrictions. Before you commit, we run the title and eligibility checks and confirm what applies to your specific situation, so you sign only once the legal position is clear.
